For work need 2 schematics:
Schematic 1: (connection to LPT port)
Schematic 2 (connection to COM port)

The program convert input sound signal of microphone/winamp to output signals directly from LPT port to simple circuit on base triacs and lamps (up to 12 channels). Continuously regulation of light from 0 to 100%.

Source of signal for SoundGraffiti HomeDisco may be:

a. Winamp (visualization plugin)
b. Microphone
c. Soundcard (even without microphone and Winamp - only on interference noise of output sound in soundcard - if use another player).

Requirements: Windows 2k/XP, usage 25% for 900 MHz, DirectX version > 8 (for plugin ).

You can use SG: HomeDisco as program and Winamp plugin

To install and start SoundGraffiti HomeDisco as plugin (otherwise as usually program):

Install plugin to directory ...\Winamp\Plugins
Then start Winamp and …
Run play WinAmp; Press Ctrl+K; Select plugin (vis_SGDimm1.dll) and press Start.

Next times:

Run WinAmp; Press Ctrl+Shift+K.

Control parameters “SoundGraffiti HomeDisco” :

“Sound processing parameters”

“Sens” and “Tempo” – algorithm values for sensitivity adjustment ( important parameter ) .
“FreqH” and “FreqL” – high and low frequency of input signal ( important parameter )

“Input”

Level – adjustment and displaying input of signal level (sometimes need).

Brightness – linear and dynamic brightness adjustment ( the very important parameter - the line brightness of a line determines all dynamic effect, various for visualization screens, different lamps, projectors and other devices ).

“Menu”:

“File” - save and load a values of parameters for different styles of music.
“vis_WinAmp”: -> “Setting” - setting color property (color intensity) - for Winamp visualization screen only.

“Visual control” – There you can set any color for every field and number of cells (for Winamp visualization screen only).

“Output”:

1. Com port (serial - RS232):

- For change Com port number – “File”->” Close ComPort”, “ComPort”->Select number and restart application
a. Display: port number
b. Display: port State (Open/Close)
c. Display: port Input impulse/sec – must from 1000 to 5000 and stability (no less 5%)
d. If you see red message on Input impulse/sec “No Impulse” – or don't work circuit CircuitCom or need select other port number.

2. LPT (parallel) port

- For change LPT port number – “File”->” Close ComPort”, “LPT Port”->Select number and restart application
a. Display: Port number
b. Display: State (Open/Close)
c. "HalfWave"- There you can choose Half Wave number of supply voltage (see pic)

For HalfWave = 1------ For HalfWave = 2------------- For HalfWave = 3------------- For HalfWave = 4

d. "Duration Impulse" - Duration output impulse LPT port for triac
e. If you see red message “connection error” – or don't work circuit CircuitLPT or need select other port number

3. Test: Click test and you can regulate brightness all lamp in test mode

Circuits:

Necessary 2 circuits :

For connection to Com port : emulation RS232 – 115200 bps, impulses (plus) ~10-70 usec, freq ~ 1-5 kHz. Base on timer 555. See CircuitCom.
For connection to LPT port: Base on triac. R14-R17, R18-R24 ~4.3k , sum power ~2 W (enough one resistor 43k 2W) See CircuitLPT.

Limitations (for license cod status fault) :

The operating time with data transfer (to LPT port) is limited to 5-10 minutes for every start.

For unlimited use it is necessary to buy the program, (if you don't take license number during purchase, please send the registration data by E-mail) and after reception license (by E-mail) - enter license number.
